The Harambee Stars will be back on home soil next month after FIFA confirmed that Kenya will host two crucial 2026 World Cup Qualifier matches at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
Kenya will face The Gambia on September 5 and Seychelles on September 9 at Kasarani — a major boost, as the Stars play World Cup qualifiers at home for the first time in years.
Currently sitting fourth in Group F with six points — 10 adrift of leaders Ivory Coast — Kenya will be looking to build on their impressive CHAN 2024 exploits under new head coach Benni McCarthy.
In addition, Nairobi will host the Gambia ersus Burundi qualifier on September 9 at Nyayo Stadium, while the Harambee Stars target vital home points at Kasarani in their uphill 2026 World Cup campaign.
