Businesses in Africa will now be able to utilise Gemini AI-powered tool for search Ads.

The chat-like tool developed by Google is designed to help businesses boost their online visibility through its conversational experience.

Now fully operational, the Gemini-powered tool will ease creation of ads and enable businesses to craft campaigns that resonates with their audiences.

"Creating effective ads can be time-consuming, especially for small businesses. Our new conversational experience helps businesses of all sizes tap into the power of Google AI to create successful Search campaigns with remarkable ease,” Shashi Thakur, VP & GM of Search Ads & Ads on Google Experiences said in a statement sent to newsrooms.

Users will be required to provide a website address, and Google AI will automatically analyse the content.

They will then generate relevant keywords, ad headlines, and descriptions, and will also be able to generate relevant images for a campaign.

With business persons in full control of the AI-generated elements they disseminate, Google says those using the conversational experience in Google Ads are 42% more likely to publish Search campaigns with more Ad Strength.

Unveiled on February 15, 2024, Gemini 1.5 AI model is seen as a breakthrough experimental feature in long-context understanding.

Google said the model offers developers and enterprises to a space to create, discover and build using AI.

The release saw Google give a makeover to its earlier chatbot model, Bard, renaming it as Gemini.
