Bomet: Motorists cautioned amid flooding at Kipsonoi bridge

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a traffic advisory concerning flooding at the Kipsonoi River Bridge in Mugeni along the Kaplong-Kisii highway.

According to KeNHA, heavy rainfall upstream has resulted in rising water levels, making the section unsafe for motorists. 

Motorists are urged to exercise caution and follow police instructions for safety.

Those traveling to Chebit and Keroka are advised to use the paved route via Kaplong-Sotik-Roret-Ikonge-Chebilat-Keroka route.

Similarly, travelers heading to Kisii should use the Kaplong-Sotik-Roret-Ikonge-Kisii route.
