Gatundu cake seller's sweet victory after winning MCA seat
The 2022 General Election was filled with many surprises as novices beat political heavyweights to win seats.
This was the case with Julius Kahura, a 27-year-old who sells cakes.
He took a dive into the political scene and emerged victorious.
Kahura expressed elation at winning the Kiganjo Ward seat in Gatundu South constituency, Kiambu County.
He said he used to use his profits to buy women's groups sufurias for baking.
