Isiolo: Family spends night in the cold following house fire

A family spent Wednesday night in the cold after their house was razed down in Burat, Isiolo County.

Mohammed Noor said the fire broke out late in the night, leaving the family of twelve stranded.

He estimates that his family incurred losses of up to Ksh.6 million following the inferno.

The home was domiciled next to their hotel and a mobile money transfer shop.

Preliminary reports indicate that the fire might have been as a result of a family dispute.

Noor called for a thorough probe into the matter in order to ascertain the cause of the fire.

He also appealed for support from well-wishers as the family seeks to rebuild their home.
