Kakamega: M-Pesa shop owner shot dead by robbers

The robbers are said to have alighted from a boda boda then raided the shop of the man, whose identity the police are yet to reveal, and ordered the owner to give them the proceeds of the day.

When the trader hesitated, one of the robbers drew a gun and fatally shot him.

The robbers then fled.

Shinyalu police boss Robert Makau said a manhunt has been launched for the culprits and urged for members of the public with leads to report to security officials.
