Kericho: Probe as man found dead at home

Investigations are ongoing after the body of a 39-year-old man was found hanging in his house in Chemosot, Bureti, Kericho county. 

According to the Deputy Chief of Chemosot, Josphat Sigei, the deceased, known as Festus, was a carpenter working in the Kaminjeiwet area, having moved to the area from Vihiga county. 

Sigei said colleagues reported that Festus had gone to work early on Thursday, but appeared disturbed, prompting his supervisor to release him early.

The body of the deceased was moved to Kapkatet mortuary as investigations get underway.
