An investigation has been launched by police in Uriri Sub County, Migori County, into the death of an unidentified man, estimated to be aged between 35 and 40, whose body was discovered in River Kuja at Miruya village in Central Kanyamkago.

According to Uriri Sub County Police Commander, Toleo Liomo, the body was found floating in the river by local residents who had visited the area.

Upon receiving the report, police officers visited the scene, collected the body, and transported it to Migori Level Four Hospital mortuary, where it awaits identification and autopsy.
