Migori: Family seeks justice as man dies in unclear circumstances

A family in Nyasoko area located in Rongo, Migori County is demanding justice following the mysterious death of their 33-year-old son, Billy Ochieng’.

According to the family, Ochieng's body was discovered dumped in a bush a day after he went missing from home.

His mother Monica Adhiambo recounted that the body was found by her husband while heading to Riosir Market on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

Adhiambo explained that she last saw her son on Friday, June 27, 2025, and remains puzzled about what transpired.

She noted that the body bore deep cuts, suggesting he was murdered elsewhere before being dumped near their home.

The grieving mother has called for a swift and thorough investigation into her son's death, urging authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice.
