Mombasa: One suspect arrested in Likoni during police crackdown

Police officers in Likoni constituency, Mombasa County have arrested a suspect linked to recurring criminal activities in the area.
The underage suspect was detained by officers from Inuka Police Station during a routine patrol in Kibundani Shika Adabu.
The suspect is currently in police custody awaiting court proceedings as investigations continue.
At the time of arrest, the suspect was found in possession of a machete.
The weapon, according to police, is linked to recent violent incidents in Mombasa County.
“The arrest marked a crucial step in ongoing efforts to enhance public safety, curb gang-related violence, and restore peace and security in the community,” police said.
Meanwhile, police have assured the public of increased patrols and urged residents to cooperate with security agencies by reporting criminal activities.
