A probe is underway into an incident where a woman died by suicide in Butere, Kakamega County.
The 30-year-old woman's body was found outside her father-in-law's house in Ibuti village.
It is reported that the deceased Marleen Auma, a mother of two, was embroiled in a domestic dispute with her 33-year-old husband identified as Hesbon Mukunyi.
"The late Auma accused her husband of having extra-marital affairs. The two would argue a lot over the matter," Peter Okusimba, a relative, said.
The body of the deceased has been moved to a nearby mortuary even as investigations get underway.
