Night guard found dead at Railways Nyalenda Estate in Kisumu
A night guard has been found dead at Railways Nyalenda Estate in Kisumu City along the Kisumu-Nairobi highway.
The body of the guard was found under a parked lorry by the parking lot, with visible injury marks.
"We found the body after searching for the guard to no avail. It appears he was hit by a blunt object," residents told Citizen Digital.
Preliminary investigations show that the assailants attempted to break into a courier van parked next to the lorry. Police believe that a struggle ensued, which led to the victim's death.
The body has been taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) Mortuary.
