Nyamira woman's body found dumped in well with knife wounds

Police in Masaba North have launched an investigation after the body of a 33-year-old woman was found inside a well at Kenyerere village, West Kitutu location,Nyamira county.

The body had knife cuts that suggested that she might have been killed somewhere else and her body dumped inside the well.

Speaking to Wananchi Reporting on Wednesday, area assistant chief Fredrick Maosa confirmed that the body had been identified.

Police from Keroka police station took the body to Gucha Hospital mortuary in Nyamira county awaiting a postmortem.
