Police investigate student’s death in Migori

Police in Rongo, Migori County, are investigating the death of a Form Three student.
Edward Ochieng's body was found near River Kuja Main Bridge on March 10, 2026.
The student had serious head injuries, and the cause of death is still unknown.
Preliminary investigations reveal he was last seen on March 9 at a gold mining site, raising questions about what led to his death.
His body was taken to Rapcom Hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
