Primary school teacher found dead in a lodging in Eldoret

Speaking to Citizen Digital, County Police Commander Ayub Gitonga said the deceased, a teacher at a local primary school, was found dead in a room he had booked after a night out.

"The deceased checked in to the lodging Friday night. The workers have detailed that he had some drinks in his hands. He said he was going to drink in his room," Gitonga said.

The body has been taken to Moi Referral Hospital mortuary in Eldoret awaiting post-mortem.

"We will wait for the results of the post-mortem so that we can ascertain the cause of death," police added.
