Probe as 35-year-old man's body found dumped in Bondo, Siaya County

Investigations are underway after the body of a 35-year-old man was found dumped in Bondo, Siaya County.
Police said the man’s body was found dumped at 1000 Street by members of the public.
Florence Okwach, mother to the deceased, was informed of her son’s death and later reported the matter to the authorities.
“I received news of my son’s death from those who found the body. I was told that my son was killed,” she said.
Preliminary reports indicate that the man was killed by unknown assailants and his body dumped in the area.

Police officers visited the scene and found the body which had a deep cut on the right side of the head cutting through the ear.
Siaya County police commander Cleti Kimaiyo told Citizen Digital that the body was taken to Bondo Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
