Probe as body of Kericho ex-MCA found hanging from rafter in his bedroom

A probe has been launched following the death of former two-term MCA for Kipchimchim Ward in Ainamoi Constituency Bernard Mutai.

The body of the late Mutai, who served as Kipchimchim MCA from 2012 -2017 and 2017-2022, was discovered hanging from a rafter in his bedroom on Thursday afternoon. 

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown. 

Taiwet sub location assistant chief Philemon Koskei confirmed the death but didn’t however give any details surrounding the death.
