Search operation to resume for two who drowned in a dam in Machakos

A search operation is set to resume after two young men drowned in a dam in Machakos County.
Police said the incident happened at Kitangani Earth Dam in Masinga Sub County.
The two, who had gone to fetch water from the dam, could not be traced by late Thursday evening.
Area chief Peter Ndunda said that the two were operating a two-wheeled bullock cart.
One of the bulls died during the incident while the other got stuck in the muddy waters.
The operation is set to resume Friday morning.
