Two killed in Machakos road accident

Two people lost their lives on Saturday morning following an accident involving a matatu and a private vehicle around Kithyoko market, Machakos County.
Several others, in serious condition, were moved to Mwingi and Kithyoko health facilities for treatment.
Witness reports say that both cars were heading to Mwingi when the matatu attempted to overtake the private vehicle before the PSV rammed into the car.
The incident caused a traffic snarl up, with police being forced to redirect traffic when they arrived on the scene.
