Shock as mutilated body found dumped in Lugari

Residents of a village in Lugari constituency, Kakamega county, were left in shock after the mutilated body of a man was discovered in Apostolic area , Mautuma Ward, on Tuesday morning.

The deceased had head injuries.

The cause of death is yet to be established, and investigations are currently underway.

PanPaper area OCS and Mbagara Assistant Chief  Joseline Juma called for calm as investigations are undertaken, urging anyone with information that can help in nailing suspects to come forward.

The body was taken to the mortuary for a postmortem.
