Suspect arrested as four sacks of bhang seized in Homa Bay

Police in Homa Bay County have arrested one suspect and confiscated four sacks of bhang.
This occurred after police officers conducted a swoop in the Kanyadhiang area, located in Rachuonyo North Sub-County.
The operation followed a tip-off from members of the public along the Kendu Bay–Homa Bay Road.
According to a police report seen by Radio Ramogi, the officers intercepted a white Toyota Corolla registration number KAM 168U during the operation, where they managed to seize the drugs.
During a search of the vehicle, police recovered 1,825 rolls, 113 brooms, and about 4 kilograms of unpacked bhang, all hidden inside four sacks.
The suspect was taken to Kendu Bay Police Station, where he awaits processing and arraignment.
