Suspect arrested, bhang worth Ksh. 9.5 million netted

Police are holding a suspected drug trafficker after he was found in possession of bhang worth an estimated Ksh.9.5 million.
The officers unearthed six sacks packed with bhang, with the driver, 45-year-old Ali Adema Misonga, arrested on the spot.
Officers from Baharini Police Station in Turbo arrested the man following a tip-off from members of the public.
Locals alerted the authorities about a suspicious lorry believed to be transporting the illicit cargo.
Officers quickly mobilised for a coordinated operation, intercepting the vehicle at Chemalal area along the busy Eldoret-Malaba highway.
The suspect is being processed ahead of his arraignment.
