A section of traders in Kitengela, Kajiado County, have decried the lack of electricity.
The traders told Citizen Digital that most of them have gone without power for more than six months.
According to them, the situation has severely affected business operations in the busy town.
They are now forced to open their businesses much earlier than usual due to the ongoing power outage in the market.
The situation has resulted in low customer turnout on the upper floors of the market, forcing many traders to relocate.
The traders are calling on Kenya Power to urgently address the situation and provide a permanent solution, so that market operations can resume.
