Traffic on Mombasa road following early morning accident in Syokimau

Traffic is building up on Mombasa Road following an accident in Syokimau.
The accident saw a lorry crash into the Expressway fence, blocking a section of the busy highway.
"The incident has seen a pile up between Total and Mabati Rollings Mills," motorists told Citizen Digital.
Traffic police and marshals from the Expressway arrived at the scene to control traffic.
Cases of accidents along the busy highway are on the rise with another incident reported right after the General Motors stage.
A significant part of the Expressway perimeter fence has been defaced following yet another accident.
Police officers have called on motorists plying the route to exercise caution especially at night and during the wee hours of the morning.
