Tragedy as Machakos student killed by trailer on way home after falling sick

A Form Two student from Kiseuni Secondary School died on Thursday after he was hit by a trailer in Nthangathini village, Miangeni sub-location, Machakos County.
The boy is said to have reported to school in the morning, but left soon after as he was not feeling well.
The school principal said the boy was escorted out of the school and made his way home.
He changed his clothes and left school, but was met by tragedy when he was hit by the trailer.
The trailer had three occupants, including the driver.
They reported the matter to Kaewa police post and officers arrived at the scene after to ferry the body.
The body was taken to Mbaku Funeral Home.
The trailer was taken away pending investigations..
