Two people killed in an accident in Bomet

A bodaboda rider and his pillion passenger have died in an accident in Bomet County.
Police said the incident happened at Chebole area along the Bomet-Kaplong highway.
The accident happened after a lorry bound for Bomet rammed onto a bodaboda headed in the opposite direction.
“Both the rider and the pillion passenger died on the spot,” Bomet Central deputy police commandant Ali Bashir said.
Witnesses said the accident might have happened as a result of poor visibility in the area.
Bodies of the deceased have been moved to Longisa Referral Hospital mortuary.
