Two suspected gangsters killed in Kikuyu, Kiambu County

Two suspected thugs have been gunned down by police in Kikuyu, Kiambu County.
Kikuyu police commander Catherine Kithure said they recovered a home made gun, a motorbike with no registration and a knife from the suspects.
"The thugs shot at our officers during the incident. Our officers returned fire, killing the two on the spot," Kithure told Citizen Digital.
The incident comes amid an outcry from residents over frequent cases of muggings in the area.
Investigations are ongoing to weed out more members of the gang.
