Two suspected thieves arrested in Migori, others on the run

Police said the two were nabbed in Suna-Oruba location, located in Suna West.

The crackdown conducted by the police in collaboration with the provincial administration also led to the recovery of stolen items.

Area Chief Charles Ouma said that some of the suspects, who may have received prior information about the crackdown, managed to escape.

The authorities are still searching for the other suspected thugs responsible for the rising cases of house burglary in Suna-Oruba.

He appealed to members of the public to continue working closely with security officers to help eliminate criminals.

The recovered items, including electronics, were taken to Oruba police post.
