Woman arrested after her two kids found dead at Nyeri farm

Police have arrested a 28-year-old woman after her two children were discovered dead at their Nyeri farm.

Mukurwe-ini OCP Mwakiria Jessi confirmed the incident saying the bodies of the two kids aged between 7 and 10 were discovered at their family farm.

It was not immediately clear what had transpired, but their mother was arrested after she was unable to explain what had led to the deaths.

Police officers discovered copious amounts of vomit next to the bodies although the cause of death awaits the verdict of an autopsy.
