Bandari FC
have signed Enock Momanyi from Talanta FC as they continue sharpening their
arsenal ahead of the new FKF Premier League season set to commence on August 27.
While
announcing his signing on their social media pages, Bandari heaped praise on
Momanyi as a versatile player who can play both as a centre back and a defensive
midfielder.
“We are luck
to bring Enock Momanyi on board from Talanta FC. He is able to play at the back
and in the position of a defensive midfielder as well.” The club posted on its official
twitter page.
Momanyi is
expected to inject the much needed experience at the heart of Bandari’s defense
as they strive to build a formidable side capable of challenging for the title
in the coming season. He becomes the sixth signing for the Dockers with the transfer window set to close on August 31.
Bandari will
face Gor Mahia in a pre-season friendly match on Sunday at the newly
refurbished Ronald Ngala Primary School grounds in Mombasa.
The
Mombasa-based side is yet to confirm Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani as their head coach
after stepping in on interim basis following the departure of Andre Casa
Mbungo.
