Council of Eminent Persons of Murang’a announce support for Governor Kang'ata's Budget and Economic Forum

Some of the members of the eminent persons are among those appointed to the budget and economic forum. The eminent persons met at the Elysian Resort along Kiambu road.

Among members present and set to serve in the council were Royal Media Services Chairman Dr. S.K Macharia and Dr. Peter Munga.

The Murang'a Eminent Persons Council was founded in 2015 with its main aim being advocacy, and building cohesion and reconciliation among the leaders of Murang’a County. Council members assured Governor Irung’u Kangata of their support.

Members appointed to the budget and economic forum will advise the Governor on budgeting and economic development.

Other members of the budget and economic forum are businessman Jimna Mbaru, Dr. Kanyenje Gakombe, Dr. Felistus Njuguna, Professor Macharia Muthuure, Dr. Salome Gitoho, Prof. Zipporah Ng'ang'a, Professor Olive Mugenda, Engineer John Mosonik, and Ambassador Mary Muthoni Gichohi.
