Former National Police Service (NPS) Spokesperson Charles
Owino has been appointed the new United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party
Siaya County Coordinator.
The ruling party Secretary General Cleophas Malala, in a
statement to newsrooms on Wednesday, said the ex-Siaya gubernatorial aspirant now comes in to replace
Dianga Waore.
The position fell vacant after Mr. Waore was appointed the Chairman
of Lake Region Development Authority by the Kenya Kwanza government.
“This change is informed by the need to enhance efficiency
and effectiveness in delivery of Party programmes and activities within the
County,” stated Malala.
“Equally. Mr. Collins Olemo has been assigned to assist Mr.
Owino in the ongoing Party Membership Recruitment exercise. All Party members
are requested to grant the duo the necessary support and cooperation.”
