The hosts struck just five minutes into the match when Abdulrahman Bwanashukuri met a poorly defended cross and headed home.
That lead barely lasted as Murang’a Seal hit back soon after with defender Khadar Abdirashid deflecting a cross into his own net.
With momentum now on their side, Murang’a Seal found the back of the net again to lead for the first time in the 34th minute through Brian Juma.
The visitors led 2-1 at the break and dominated the second half but their missed chances would come back to haunt them as Enoch Ouma found the equalizer five minutes from time.
Kajiado head Coach Martine Mutembei hailed his boys terming todays draw as a strong comeback following last year’s 3-2 loss on their 1st encounter against Darajani Gogo. He is optimistic that going forward good results are expected.
“The match was tough, we played against much experienced team, but God helped us to secure a very important draw.
“The 1st match was a bit challenging for us because it was our 1st game in the National super league but we are happy for strides we are making, most of the teams here are strong but we will put in our best as we face them,” Mutembei said.
Kajiado opened their NSL campaign with defeat at the hands of Darajani Gogo and thus have one point from two games.
They have a trip to the lake city of Kisumu on January 11, to face the host Kisumu All-stars while Muranga Seal host Bomet’s Silibwet on the same day.
