Man accused of targeting couples, raping women in Vet Farm arrested

According to police, the suspect, believed to be a former inspectorate officer with Nairobi County and a resident of Embulbul, was apprehended on Wednesday in possession of a facemask, handcuffs, and other items allegedly used in the attacks.

Investigators allege the man targeted picnicking couples and religious pilgrims visiting the area.

In several reported cases, he is said to have handcuffed the male companion before leading the woman to a nearby thicket, where he allegedly assaulted her.
