Man loses part of ear in family land dispute in Makueni

A middle-aged man has been seriously injured after he was allegedly bitten on the ear by his elder brother during a dispute over their father’s land in Kyamavui Village, Mithumo, Mbooni East.

Nimrod Kilonzo says he was cutting down a tree on the family land on Sunday morning when his elder brother confronted him and allegedly bit his ear, leaving him with serious injuries.

Kilonzo says he reported the incident at Mbumbuni Police Station, but no arrest has been made.

He says he now fears for his safety and that of his family, and is calling on police to intervene.
