Modern Coast bus bursts into flames in Naivasha

A Modern Coast Bus traveling from Nairobi to Kampala has burst into flames along the Nairobi-Naivasha highway.

Video footage seen by Citizen Digital on Saturday morning captured the bus at the side of the road in the Kigio Conservancy area, near the Gilgil weighbridge, completely engulfed by fire.

Gilgil OCPD Winston Mwakio has since confirmed the incident saying the police have begun investigations into the accident.

He said there were 23 passengers on board, all of whom escaped unhurt.
