Through a tweet on Sunday, NairoSakaja announced that the match will put a cap on the week-long Nairobi Festival which has been hosted at the same grounds since Monday, December 12.
Alongside watching the match, Sakaja has promised a plethora of goodies to entertain the fete attendees, including a firework extravaganza.
"Come let’s watch the World Cup finals together at Uhuru Park as we close the Nairobi Festival. Amazing fireworks show after plus Nganya awards, Christmas tree and support to 40 children homes for the festive season," Sakaja wrote.
During the launch of the festival, Sakaja said that the fun-filled fair will be held every December to display and celebrate the “vibe of the city”.
It brings together food, the arts, matatu art awards, as well as exhibitions on designated city streets.
Since its commencement, Nairobians were treated to music, food, leisure and recreational activities.
As the Nairobi Festival comes to a close, the final World Cup match will see Argentina and France battle it out to be crowned champions of the world.
Prominent leaders, among them Raila Odinga, have also chimed into the competition banter expressing optimism in the team they support.
