NCBP dominantly dismantled Black Mamba 32-18 in a Kenya Handball Federation league fixture at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday.

Despite Saturday's draw NCPB remained undefeated and top of the league and they went into Sunday's clash with designs on retaining that undefeated record.

Black Mamba on the other hand will be looking to goal machine Polycarp Rakama to produce the goals as they aimed for third in the standings with a win.

NCPB looked to stifle the Mamba attack led by skipper Timothy Kirimi. The league leaders opened a 4-point lead within the opening ten minutes of the game to settle the nerves in the opening third of match up.

The opening 15 minutes would have NCPB in the lead 8-4 largely owed to their strong defense over that opening period.

Black Mamba struggled for an answer to NCPB's rear guard as they toiled to close down the 4-point gap in the remaining 15 minutes of the first half.

Polycarp Rakama was brought on with 6 minutes of the first half left to try and bolster the Black Mamba attack as at the point of his introduction they trailed by seven points to the league leaders.

Early in the second half Black Mamba would rejuvenate themselves rapidly reducing the deficit to four in the opening five minutes.

NCPB would be reduced to five men shortly after a serious would during one of their attacks giving Black Mamba a platform to possiblg stage a comeback.

However the league league leaders remained firm and utilised a flurry of fast breaks to open an eight point gap, their lead 22-18 at that point with 20 minutes of the second half left to play.

With the remaining ten minutes left to play the score stood at 28-17 in the Millers favour as they had settled into a fast paced attacking game with their defense remaining firm as they marched on to a dominant victory.

NCPB wrapped up a dominant display winning 32 -18 thus finishing the first leg of their league fixtures undefeated with 9 wins and one draw firmly at the summit of the KHF league table. Black Mamba remain 4th on 11 points.
