There seems to be no respite on the horizon for FKF Premier League AFC Leopards, who have recently been caught in the eye of a storm involving lawsuits by former players over unpaid salary arrears.

In the latest development of the troubles at the den, former defender Robert Mudenyu has hinted at moving to the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) to compel the Leopards to clear his Ksh. 901,000 salary arrears.

Last week, former defender Collins Shivachi threatened Ingwe with an SDT duel should they fail to release his Ksh 1.2 million after his contract expired at the club.

Mudenyu decries his emails to the Leopards' bosses, which have gone unanswered for about two weeks.

"I have tried to talk to them about the money they owe me, and I have done this through email for records.

"They asked me to suggest how I want them to pay me, but unfortunately, it has taken two weeks without their response to the mail I wrote them.

"They owe me Ksh991000", revealed Mudenyu.

Mudenyu has told the Leopards he expects full pay soon or will join Shivachi in the SDT.

"When they told me to write an email, it was to capture how I wanted them to pay me.

"I have told them that I am expecting them to pay me the whole money at once," he added.

Several players who Leopards failed to renew their contracts at the end of last season are also contemplating taking similar action to force their former employer to settle their dues.

With only three days until the transfer deadline day, Mudenyu has also hinted at the prospect of him joining top-flight debutants Murang'a SEAL if all goes well.

"I am working on something good, and very soon, you will just see me somewhere.

"Even as we are talking now, I am in the process of finalizing personal terms with a top-flight side."
