Nyamira: Man found dead at home after altercation with neighbour

Investigations have been initiated following an incident in which the body of a man was found lying on the floor of his sitting room in Nyakeore, Nyamira South Sub-county.
A police report stated that Vincent Nyangau had been involved in an altercation with his neighbour on Thursday and a stone was thrown at him. Nyangau was left bleeding and is said to have managed to make his way back home, but later on, his body was found on the floor.
Nyangau's mother, Eunice Mokeira, said her son asked his wife to go get money to take him to hospital, but by the time she returned, he had passed on.
"The police took his body to the mortuary for a postmortem and the culprit fled after hearing of my son's demise," she said.
Police are hunting for the suspect.
