Probe as 85-year-old woman found strangled in Kwale

Police have launched a probe after an 85-year-old woman was found strangled in Tingeti Mazumalume village, Tsimba Golini Ward in Kwale County.

According to Matuga Sub-County Police Commander Alex Chepsoi, the victim’s body was found hanging from a piece of cloth.

The body was discovered without clothing, raising concerns that the woman may have been subjected to abuse before her death.

According to officers from Matuga Police Station, no other injuries were evident.

Police have initiated a thorough investigation to identify those responsible and are urging the public to cooperate by providing any relevant information.
