vivo unveils V50 Lite in Kenya: Slim design meets big battery and AI features #AD

The V50 Lite is equipped with a powerful 6,500mAh battery supported by 90W fast charging—among the fastest available in mainstream smartphones. According to vivo, the device can be fully charged in under an hour and is designed to retain battery health over five years or 1,700 full charge cycles.

Despite its large battery, the phone maintains a slim 7.79mm profile. It also supports reverse charging via USB-C, allowing it to power other devices.

Performance

The 5G variant of the V50 Lite runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, while the 4G version is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685. Both models are built to handle daily multitasking and mid-range gaming.

Performance features include Extended RAM, RAM Saver, and App Retainer to ensure long-lasting smooth operation. Dual stereo speakers with output amplification up to 400% enhance the audio experience.

The device sports a 6.77-inch P-OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1800 nits. The screen boasts a 94.2% screen-to-body ratio and is certified for reduced blue light emissions.

Built for durability, the V50 Lite has passed over 70 mechanical stress tests. It holds an IP65 rating for dust and low-pressure water resistance and is certified for military-grade toughness.

Cameras

The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2x digital zoom mode labelled “Golden Portrait.” The front camera offers 32MP resolution.

Other photography features include “Aura Light Portrait,” which improves low-light portraits using nano-scale light diffusion, along with AI tools for background removal and automated photo enhancements.
