'We are committed to transparency' : Entertainment spot Mass House releases statement after death of reveller

After sustained social media outrage, the entertainment joint took to its social media platforms to calm the masses and provide their version of the incident, saying that while they could not share any detailed information, they were 'cooperating fully with the relevant authorities'.

The statement read in part: "Between the late hours of Friday the 14th of February and the early hours of Saturday the 15th of February 2025, an incident occurred within the Masshouse premise and as such we extend our sympathies to the victim's loved ones."

"Despite us being unable to share any detailed information regarding the incident, we at Masshouse are co-operating fully with the relevant authorities in their ongoing investigation in order to understand the circumstances surrounding this incident."

Mass House's management continued to stress that they were committed to transparency and that they would continue to provide the public with updates on the unravelling saga.

"Masshouse is committed to transparency and will provide updates as appropriate in accordance with the investigations progress," they wrote. 

They added, "Masshouse is firmly dedicated to ensuring the safety and the well-being of all our clients remains a top priority. We ask for your patience and understanding at this time."

The entertainment joint, wildly popular with the youth and which regularly hosts LIVE concerts, was forced to speak up after reports of the death of a reveller.

The matter has already been reported to Karen Police Station.
