CentumRE launches first phase of premier duplexes Loft Residences at Two Rivers

Whether buying a home to live in or for investment, location is a critical factor to consider.

For some buyers, top on their list is ensuring the house they buy is close to amenities such as shopping centres, schools, offices and schools to ensure a seamless commute.

Centum Real Estate has taken this concept a notch higher by designing what they refer to as a social city with amenities including the Two Rivers shopping mall, hotels, offices and residences all under one roof in a mixed use development.

When launching the first phase of their latest project – Loft Residences – at Two Rivers on Saturday, February 11, 2023, Centum Real Estate (CentumRE) sales project manager, Martin Kariuki said, “You're not just buying a home at Loft Residences, but a lifestyle. You can take a walk at night and go watch a movie, do your shopping at Two Rivers and walk back home.”

Loft Residences comprises 56 premium four bedroom plus DSQ duplexes with a townhouse touch within the Two Rivers social city.

Phase 1 comprises of 32 residences, each measuring 3,014sqft each.

The all ensuite duplexes with a room on the ground floor and three on the first floor are being sold for Ksh45 million.

CentumRE has completed over 800 new homes across East Africa in the last two years and handed over keys to homeowners. 

The entire Two Rivers is set on 102 acres.

“If you go to Runda, you can't even get bare land for Ksh45 million. At Loft Residences, you are just next to Runda and the complete houses are going for Ksh45 million,” Kariuki said. 

He added that those who are looking to buy units for investment, CentumRE has a property management section which offers full service of locating tenants for owners, collecting rent and then depositing it in clients’ accounts.  “It's an end to end service,” he said. 

CentumRE managing director, Kenneth Mbae, said the company delivers  quality projects on schedule.

“In some years to come, the saying will be Runda is next to Two Rivers, rather than Two Rivers is next to Runda. We deliver value,” he said.

Centum PLC Group CEO James Mworia thanked investors for having faith in the project. 

“Many committed when it was still on a paper,” he said.

Mworia said Centum was focused on ensuring Kenya is put on the map when attracting foreign exchange and being a hub for valuable projects. 

“These cities we are developing are enablers of commerce,” he said. 

CentumRE board chairman James Ruitha reiterated that the company had products for all market segments.

“Even if you can’t manage the Ksh45 million one, we give value for money whether it's a Ksh2.5 million house or a Ksh45 million one,” he said.  

Phase 2 of Loft Residences is expected to be complete within the year. The project will feature a club house, gym, swimming pool, among other amenities.
