A firm believer in making an impact, rather than making the loudest noise, Toseef Din is firmly grounded in her faith.

Starting her career in the world of accounting and finance, rising from being an auditor to head of finance and chief operations officer before taking on her current role as CEO of the MP Shah Hospital, Toseef says that she believes in humility and service to others.

When she’s away from the hospital on leave or assignment, Toseef’s belief in shared leadership is evident, as she started the practice of assigning a CEO to take her place and make decisions in her absence. This, she says, has given other senior leaders the opportunity to see themselves in the role and build their leadership skills.

She says that although she may not always agree on the decisions made during her absence, part of leadership involves walking with others.

On finding balance between work and her personal life, Toseef is emphatic that it is pointless to drain oneself in work and let your personal life suffer, adding that it is pointless to focus solely on work and neglect family.

When it comes time to unwind, Toseef enjoys a good workout that involves lifting weights and spending quality time with her family, with whom she has formed a book club.
