She’s responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business of Kenya’s top decision-making body.

On this week's episode of hashtagShe Means Business, we speak to Mercy Wanjau, Secretary to the Cabinet of Kenya, just after the half-term review of President William Ruto’s administration, to reflect on her leadership journey and her vision for a digitised, future-ready public service.

With a background in law and previous service as Acting Director General at the Communications Authority, Mercy shares how those roles prepared her for the complex task of coordinating Cabinet operations, overseeing the implementation of government decisions, and driving alignment across ministries.
