PHOTOS: Citizen TV’s Waihiga Mwaura weds Joyce Omondi in glitzy ceremony

Citizen Television’s Sports anchor Waihiga Mwaura on Friday December 18 tied the knot with the love of his life gospel singer Joyce Omondi in a colourful ceremony which was held at the lush Sawela Lodge in Naivasha.
Waihiga, who is a very spiritual person, chose to go all white with the groom’s men dressed in three-piece black and white suits.
Joyce Omondi on the other hand wore a fitting white gown with a veil freely flowing over her visage. The bridesmaids donned beautiful green dresses.
In attendance were Citizen Television’s Willis Raburu, Bernard Ndong, Patrick Igunza among other high profile personalities.
Joyce was a co-host of the popular Rauka Gospel Music programme on Citizen Television with Njugush of K-Krew before leaving the show in 2013 to pursue a Master’s degree in International Development at the Georgetown University in Washington.
Two years later Joyce Omondi returned to Kenya; and now it felt right for her to make the next move in her life which is to settle down with the man after her own heart – Waihiga Mwaura.
