Three people killed after matatu collides with truck on Mombasa - Nairobi highway

Three people have died and several others severely injured following a tragic road accident on the Mombasa - Nairobi highway.

The road carnage that occurred on Saturday in Tumbuni area near Sultan Hamud in Makueni County involved a 46-seater matatu and a truck.

According to police reports, the matatu collided head-on with the oncoming truck on the busy highway.

Makueni Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan confirmed the accident saying he will issue comprehensive details later.
