'Let him pray on social media': Narok Governor Ntutu says Senator Ole Kina not invited to Ruto’s Thanksgiving Service

Addressing the media on Wednesday, the governor slammed Ole Kina over his purported media influence saying the lawmaker should consider holding a Church service on social media where he is most active.

In a move likely to intensify the feud between the two leaders, Ole Ntutu went ahead to welcome all Kenya Kwanza Party leaders, with whom he is allied.

“Hakuna kitu tutamwambia…unajua yeye (Senator Ledama Ole Kina) ni mtu wa TV, hautampata hapa kwa ground. Atakua tu huko kwa TV na social media so yeye ataomba tu huko kwa social media. Yeye aendelee afanye kazi yake ya Senate na sisi tufanye ya wananchi,” Ntutu said.

“Wananchi wote wa Kenya wamealikwa hapa Narok…President na Deputy President watakuwa hapo na wale viongozi wengine wote wa Kenya Kwanza watafika hapa ili tuweze kuwa pamoja hio siku ya jumapili tarehe 29,” he stated.

The remarks by the county boss follow recent sentiments by the Senator in which Ole Kina faulted Narok's education budget.

Since then, the pair has differed with Ole Kina who is allied to the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition accusing the governor of misappropriation of county funds in his allocation of tenders.

“If you look at the type of the things the governor is doing…I know he is saying that huyo ni mtu wa TV na social media, I am everywhere…what he does not know is that even when he is dishing out illegal tenders, am getting that information,” Ledama responded to the governor in a call.

“The first thing we need to do is to teach the governor the law because he does not understand the law.”

President Ruto will be touring Narok County on Sunday, January 29 where he will be attending a thanksgiving service.
