Bondo MP Dismisses EACC Probe On Chaos

Ochanda argued that Speaker Justin Muturi could have avoided the chaos by giving room for consensus, which he failed to do.

Speaking during a funds drive at Nyang’oma Children’s Home in his Bondo Constituency, Ochanda blamed the speaker for the chaos witnessed in parliament.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has planned to probe the chaos witnessed in parliament during debate security laws.

EACC Chair Mumo Matemo said on Friday that they will probe the Mps who were involved in rowdy behavior during the debate.

Matemo further said that stern action will be taken against those found in contravention of the Leadership and Integrity Act.

These reactions come after the chaos that erupted in parliament on Thursday during the debate on the Security Law Amendment Bill.
